How to Use Adoreshare MTS Video Converter

Adoreshare MTS Video Converter mainly helps AVCHD/HD digital camera users to easy convert .MTS videos on their Windows computer. With it you can convert .mts or .m2ts files to any other video format like AVI, MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, Divx, Xvid, FLV, etc., so that they can be played on popular portable devices like iPhone, iPad, Kindle Fire, etc. It's a useful tool if you want to enjoy HD video clips from Sony or other popular camcorder everywhere is simpler than ever.

Download the installation package to your computer. After installation launch it and follow the steps below to convert MTS or M2TS files to any video or audio formats you like.

Step 1. Import .mts/.m2ts Videos to the Converter

On the program and click on the "Add" button to locate your MTS files, or directly drag and drop MTS files to the interface. Note that you can add multiple files and convert them simultaneously using the batch conversion feature.

Step 2. Edit and Personalize Videos before Conversion (Optional)

Next to the imported MTS videos, you will find and "Edit" button. Click on this button to bring up a series of options to edit your videos. These options include: Trim Video, Crop Video, Add Watermark, Add Subtitle, Extract Audio and Rename Video. You can use these options to make your own videos.

Trim a Video: Click on "Trim" and set the "Start" and "End" time, you can preview video effects on output preview window.

Crop a Video: Select "Crop" and from original preview box you can crop video edges by dragging dotted lines. The output effects can be previewed in real-time from the right box. On the crop pane, you can select an output aspect ratio and the available options are: Keep Original, full screen, 16:9 and 4:3.

Add a Watermark on a Video: Select "Watermark" and here you can add either a text watermark or an images watermark for your video. You are allowed to adjust watermark position and size by dragging and dropping. For text watermark, you can customize text font, color and transparent.

Merge all videos into one: On the bottom of the program interface, you will see the "Merge" button. Slide this button to "On" if you want all the converted MTS/M2TS files to become one.

Step 3. Set Output Format

To make it easier for you to choose the output format, the MTS converter offers you a row of options. You can choose an output format from the formats provided in Recent, Devcies, Video, Web Share, HD&3D and Audio.

Change output video settings: The setting button ( ) is on the right of each format. Click on it to enter output format setting center. In the pop up Window, you could set the codec, bit rate, size and scale for video and audio. When you are done with settings, click "OK" to save them.

Step 4. Convert MTS Videos to Other Formats

All converted files are saved by default to MTS Converter's library folder. If you want to change the default folder, click the browse button to set another output folder.

When all is set, click on the Convert button down the right of the program's interface to start conversion. After conversion, open the output folder and find the converted videos. Then you can freely play and share them.
